FITZGERALD AND MCCORMACK CONCERTS
Brian FitzGerald and Martin McCormack, known as the duo Switchback, offer the perfect original music for your church. Boasting over 30 years of experience as professional musicians, FitzGerald and McCormack’s unique liturgical music has been used by various denominations and for events such as raising money for the hungry in Kansas or a Mass at the Cathedral of Pompeii in Italy. After the Mass, an original music concert brings your congregation together with wonderful music that will lift the spirit.
The Mass
We work with your musical ministry director. We send an audio file of practice music along with sheet music for the Mass. The choir learns the music prior to the Mass. Our music includes: Entrance Hymn, Lord Have Mercy, Gloria, Psalm, Alleluia, Offertory, Holy Holy, Memorial Acclamation, Great Amen, Lamb of God, Communion Hymn and Recessional Hymn.
FitzGerald and McCormack arrive the day of (or day prior to) the service for a one to two-hour rehearsal with the choir. The result is a Mass that will be easy for the congregation. There is also the option to have the service performed by the duo.
The Concert
Our concert, used in conjunction with the Mass or by itself, consists of two 45-minute sets, with a half-hour intermission. The duo can perform in the sanctuary, parish hall, or school auditorium. The band may require a sound system, but in most cases can provide their own.
